There are various subjects covered in CHF, but essentially, our main focus is on a field of Chinese studies known as "Guoxue 國學" (literally translated as "China Knowledge", but it actually means "Chinese history and culture"). Guoxue is a broad field of study covering not just Chinese history, but also traditional Chinese culture, such as philosophy, literature, language, arts etc. In CHF, we also cover important subjects such as ancient Chinese arsenal, Chinese art of war, Chinese people, overseas chinese etc, thus providing members to have a broader understanding of China, esp. her rich ancient past.

Kidipede - History for Kids began in 1995 as a community service learning project for sophomores at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. Since 2000, however, it has been entirely privately owned, organized and run by Karen Carr. Dr. Carr holds a PhD in Classical Art and Archaeology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is an associate professor of History at Portland State University.

KidsKonnect.com is maintained by a retired educator, Jan Belzer. In 1999, Belzer began creating portal pages for the kids in the elementary school where she taught. After a year, it became clear that the pages should be located on the Internet instead of Belzer's school local network. By doing this, all kids could use KidsKonnect!
